'Pitch Perfect 3' Cast, Update: Hailee Steinfield Posed For A Recording Session

Good news Acapella fanatics! Hailee Steinfeld confirmed that will star in the upcoming "Pitch Perfect 3" movie.

Hailee confirmed once again the exciting news on her Twitter account by uploading a photo of her in a recording studio. As "Pitch Perfect 3" is filming in Atlanta, the photo showed a sneak peek of her recording some songs.

She first confirmed the news via also a picture in which she posed in front of a colossal white '3' painted on a wall, she's written: 'RELAX, pitches. I'm here. #PitchPerfect'.

Steinfeld was introduced to the franchise during "Pitch Perfect 2", directed by Elizabeth Banks. She plays the role of Emily Junk, a freshman at the film's fictional Barden University. Banks is still producing the latest Pitch Perfect film, as she did for the first two. However, the director's chair's been passed down to Trish Sie, according to Daily Mail.

As a legacy of The Bellas, the a-cappella group on which the film centers, she proves herself not only as an effective singer but also as a composer. She then formed a romantic relationship with Benji, a male a cappella singer played by Ben Platt.

Artist Jessie J performed Flashlight for the soundtrack film, and Emily Junk "wrote" and sings a version of it called Sweet Life Mix. Steinfeld proved not only to be a great actress but also a great recording artist. She scored a deal herself with Republic Records, whom also formed her first debut EP called Haiz.

She will appear with other returning cast members such as Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Hana Mae Lee, Shelley Regner, Kelley Jakle, Ester Dean, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp.

Actress Rebel Wilson, who is a cast mainstay, uploaded an Instagram post last week of herself with her co-stars from the new film. Ester Dean, Chrissie Fit, Kelley Jakle, Hana Mae Lee and Anna Camp all posed with Wilson for a picture she captioned: 'Loving rehearsing with these Bellas x @chrissiefit @TheRealAnnaCamp @hanamaelee @EsterDean @kelleyjakle'.
