'Teen Wolf' Season 6 Spoilers: Stiles' First Name Revealed; Lydia's Memories Key To Saving Him

After five and a half seasons, MTV has finally decided to reward "Teen Wolf" fans with the answer to a question that has been plaguing their minds ever since the show started. What is Stiles' first name?

In Season 6 Episode 8, titled "Blietzkrieg," Stiles' dad finally remembers that he had a son named Mieczyslaw Stilinski, which literally means sword and glory. The revelation was such a big one for the gang but even more for the fans, who waited and debated and theorized for seasons on what the mystery name was, HollywoodLife reported.

The good news is that it seems that Stiles may soon be reunited with his friends because his dad's memory of him created a rift in his room, increasing his chances of getting saved from the Ghost Riders who wiped everybody's memory of Stiles' existence.

The revelation of Stiles name comes as a great gift to fans as "Teen Wolf" prepares for its curtain call at the end of this season. In an Entertainment Weekly interview with show creator Jeff Davis, he revealed that he came up with Stiles' unique name because Mieczyslaw sounded like the word mischief, a characteristic that he attributed to Stiles' character as a child and as a teenager.

For the upcoming episode, titled "Memory Found," Scott and his friends will try to open up the rift that will take them to the lair of the Ghost Riders in order to save Stiles and the rest of their group, the synopsis posted on SpoilerTV indicated.

To do this, they must try hard to remember everything about their friend. It has been speculated that Lydia's memories of Stiles will be the trigger that brings him back because of their powerful bond of friendship and romantic feelings.

"Memory Found" will be aired on MTV on Jan. 24 and will be the ninth installment the show's sixth season.
