Shocking deaths and unexpected twists were shown in just two small episodes. Fans examined previous episodes for clues and are looking forward for something big from the finale. What fans discovered on Season Two, Episode Three caused excitement because there may be a possible return of an old character.

This will be the finale for Sherlock's Season 4. This being Sherlock, fans are looking forward for something huge from the finale (which some fortunate individuals have already seen.) Fans also examined previous episodes for clues on what would be the possible revelations.

What fans discovered caused excitement because there were hints pointing to a return of an old character. The said scene was taken from Season Two, Episode Three entitled 'The Reichenbach Fall,' which features a heated interplay between Benedict Cumberbatch's titular detective and recurring villain Moriarty who's played by Andrew Scott as cited on Independent.

Sherlock asked Moriarty what it is all for to which Moriarty replied that he wants to solve the problem, their problem, the final problem. Fans are really excited because this Sunday's episode is titled 'The Final Problem' - could this be a sign that the villain will be making a surprise last minute appearance? This will be a shock knowing that this villain died in Season Two.

This episode will feature thrill-ride scenes: a crashing plane, an isolated island prison, elaborate disguises, surprising weaponry, mind-bending puzzles, gruesome allusions, sincere emotion, violin interludes and, a spine-chilling meet-up between the third Holmes child, Eurus, and Sherlock's arch-nemesis, Jim Moriarty as cited on Deadline.

Whatever the results may be, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss are surely hiding something up their sleeves that will shake the whole fandom. The series will conclude its fourth season on BBC One at 9 PM this Sunday. For the list of other shows to binge once it's over, you can find our 2017 preview here.
