'The Vampire Diaries' New Extended Promo For Season 8, Episode 10; 'Nostalgia's A Bitch'

There are only seven more episodes until fans bid the Mystic Falls farewell forever. The gang would continue their trip down the memory lane after revisiting the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant, next week.

Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Caroline (Candice King) will enter Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) mind to save him from Sybil's (Nathalie Kelley) ever-lasting torture.  Sybil enacts vengeance on Damon by putting him in a catatonic state, Comicbook Movie reports.

While in Damon's mind, Bonnie and Caroline ran into so many familiar faces from their past. It was a race against time for the bell because both Sybil and her sister Seline (Kristen Gutoskie) strive for its control. As they struggle to revive Damon, they came to discover that Stefan (Paul Wesley) is the only one with the key to unlocking his brother's fate.

Sybil and Seline continue their all-out war for control of the all-powerful bell. The new promo for episode ten is entiled "Nostalgia's a Bitch."

The final season of "The Vampire Diaries" features more high-stakes romance, adventure and drama than the previous seasons. In the previous season, the characters rebuilt their world without Elena, with Stefan and Caroline beginning their much-anticipated but complicated relationship.

However, Damon pursued a vendetta against his mother, Lily (Annie Wersching), who abandoned her sons to care for vampire-witches with Lily's misguided decision causing her own demise. Rayna seized the opportunity to force Stefan to go on the run, leaving Caroline to have a fresh start with Alaric, Spoilers Guide reports.

Damon used the help of the Armory, but the Armory's deeper agenda endangered Bonnie's life, with Damon and Enzo entering the Armory's occult vault to remedy the crisis. In season eight Alaric, Caroline and Stefan will team up with Bonnie to go in search for the two most important men in her life even when Enzo and Damon may be long past saving.
