After rumors of NVIDIA to introduce their latest GeForce GTX 1080 Ti graphics card during CES 2017 in Las Vegas, the company never revealed the said product during the event. Now, there are rumors that NVIDIA would reveal the GTX 1080 Ti at PAX East 2017.

This isn't confirmed by NVIDIA reports, Hot Hardware. Although, the company posted a job listing last month for a Senior Marketing Manager and outlined specific obligations the chosen applicant would be in charge of. One of those duties listed was to make sure that GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card owners get top priority for the GTX 1080 Ti pre-orders. NVIDIA did virtually confirm that they are planning to release a Ti variant of the GTX 1080; however, no specific release date has been confirmed.

This news came apparently from an employee of an NVIDIA AIB who was not named for obvious reasons, according to WCCFTech. It seems that NVIDIA has been pushing back the GTX 1080 Ti's release to put more improvement on the GPU while they wait for AMD to make a move and relish a couple more months of GTX 1080 holding the performance crown unchallenged until the Vegas hits the markets and overthrows the GeForce GTX 1080.

If the rumors of the GTX 1080 Ti to be unveiled during PAX East, then all the rumors surrounding AMD lately would actually fit nicely. Apparently, if AMD plans to reveal the Vega GPU in June, then it would support the rumors of the GTX 1080 Ti to be revealed as soon as possible.

Also according the source, the GTX 1080 Ti will be available from all dealers the moment it is released. This means that interested buyers for the GPU will be able to get the AIB variants of the GTX 1080 Ti from day 1 of release. The GTX 1080 Ti will cost between $630 to $1,200.

PAX East will be on March 10-12, 2017.
