The "Overwatch" seasonal event is all set to take place on Jan. 24, and now, it seems to have already got a sneak peek of some of the legendary Overwatch hero skins. The leak making "Overwatch" fans curious and excited about its characters, storyline and features.

According to Live News Today, some of the skins are modeled after characters from the Chinese folk tale "Journey to the West." This has been revealed through a purported leak advertisement.

Apparently, the photograph was posted by Redditor hythl0day. According to him, a Chinese player accidently came across this advertisement about a free week event of "Overwatch" in China. It is said that the text on the poster reads "Journey to the west' limited skins. Year of the Rooster, free trial: January 24 - January 31."

According to PC Gamer, the four skins apparently illustrate characters from the popular Chinese novel. Interestingly, the novel has seen adaptations from "Dragon Ball" to "Enslaved: Odyssey to the West," a popular video game. Now, Zenyatta's skin is the Buddhist monk Xuanzang. It is at times referred to as Tang Sanzang, while in some cases, it is known as Tripitaka.

In the meantime, three tank heroes are dressed as the monk's three disciples namely Winston as Sun Wukong. He is also known as the Monkey King. Interestingly, Roadhog is the pig monster Zhu Bajie, while Reinhardt is Sha Wujing, who is a sand monster that terrorized a river.

Still, there is no hard proof that the advertisement is real. With this, there are possibilities that these skins might not be seen in the game, but the designs do prove that a lot of hard work went into it. Fans may just wait until Jan. 24 and find out the real story behind the whole leaked reports of "Overwatch" skins.
