Suits Season 6 Spoilers: Harvey To Sort Out Mommy Issues; Mike Gets Help From Unlikely Source

Shippers of "Suits'" Harvey and Donna were treated to a long awaited scene of the pair kissing in the episode entitled "She's Gone." The episode marked the beginning of the back six episodes of Season 6 and aired January 25, but executive producer Aaron Korsch teased that it was just an experiment to see how fans would react.

It can be recalled that the episode showed Donna and Harvey post coitus but it turned out that everything happened in Harvey's dream. This development led fans to question why the savvy lawyer would have such dreams about his long time friend and colleague and raised hopes that a romantic relationship may develop between the two, a Forbes recap reported.

Outside of the dream, real life Donna advised Harvey to sort out his issues with his mother, which has been the source of the problems in his relationships with women. Mike on the other hand, landed a teaching position but immediately got fired after his prison record came to the attention of his new bosses.

According to showrunner Aaron Korsch in a TVLine interview, the scene between Harvey and Donna was intended to tease the audience into figuring what they really want to happen between the two. He said it afforded the writers the opportunity to give the viewers a taste of what could happen but without actually going there.

He also shared that the next episode will see Harvey taking Donna's advice about his mom while Mike will try to figure out what his next career move will be. Rachel's decision to stay with the firm will also have a long term consequence, Korsch warned.

The next episode, entitled "The Painting" will see Mike receiving a boost from an unlikely source and Harvey leaving the firm in the hands of Donna, Louis and Rachel as he reluctantly takes Donna's advice, according to TV.com. 

The episode airs February 1 on the USA Network.
