The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is one the most expected smartphones of the year, not only because is an improved version of Galaxy Note 7, but this line will count with six new features able to compete directly with Apple's iPhone Plus 7. Apparently, the launch date of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be the same for Apple's new iPhone 8.

This year, Samsung introduced features enough to make sure the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Notes 8 include the best of the last version. Past Galaxy Note 7 had several new features already, to be on the next line.  Relates the source, that the Samsung Galaxy S8 guaranteed as well a rundown of new specs, explain iTech Post.

Even Apple is well-known for their smartphone line, actually, iPhone sales are lower compared to other years, and Samsung is taking advantage to update their next line of devices.

According to iDigital Times, it exists six features that many consumers surely expect to see on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

The first one is a dual edge display, seen before in the Galaxy Note Edge that featured only a single curve on the right side of the device. The initial dual-edge smartphones models were Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy S7 Edge. Relates the same source, that a dual-edge display will be a standard feature for now on, including upcoming Galaxy S8 smartphone.

A second feature also included on the Galaxy Note 7, is the iris scanner.  It's used as a security and authentication option. The smartphone has a separate dedicated camera at the front, only to make the iris readings. This feature might be included on the Galaxy S8 so the Galaxy Note 8.

Also, consumers will see an IP68 (grade) Water Resistance including S-Pen. The company developed a method that seals the handset but also the S-Pen Stylus to avoid water entry. This means, now the device won't be affected if it's submerged in water (30minutes). According to this, the water resistant devices will continue, even in ones with Pen Stylus.

Third, a Blue Coral light color option, also seen in the Galaxy S7 Edge but gained such popularity, that Blue Coral have become the third option for Samsung's premium lines gold and silver originals.

Samsung will probably continue to add expandable storage. The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 featured a 256GB storage, next upgrade could be a point of protest, relates the same source.

Finally, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 could feature a USB Type-C like the previous version. For a new Gear VR headset.

Hopefully, the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 includes all the six features or even more to the smartphone line.
