Dell Launching XPS 15 Thinnest, Lightest Laptop: Finger Print Scanner, Touch Screen, 1TB

Trusted communication and computing brand Dell has finally confirmed finger prince scanner in its latest laptop XPS 15 laptop. Rumors were circulating in the online media about the now confirmed finger print scanner in XPS 15 laptop.

Planetbiometrics reported that finger print reader is compatible with latest version of windows Hello. Dell has launched Dell Latitude 7285 this month which is claimed to be the World's first laptop with wireless charging capabilities. Laptop XPS 15 is also said to be World's first laptop equipped with fingerprint reader from an electronics giant.

Dell XPS 15 laptop is powered by 7^th generation Kaby Lake Processor, NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 card with 4GB GDDR5 RAM, finger print reader for Windows Hello, Killer 1535 wireless 2X2 plus Bluetooth 4.1 and 97 Whr battery.

There are different variants of XPS 15 laptops and of course have different prices. According to Dell official website, Dell XPS 15 has three different variants.

1.      World's thinnest and lightest laptop with a stunning infinity edge display and optional touch screen has 6^th generation Core i7-6500HQ Quadcore processor with 6 M cache. 16 GB DDR4 RAM at 2133 MHz with 32GB post-RTS (2xsoDIMMs) including 512 GB hard drive.

2.      World's smallest 15" XPS 9560 laptop pack powerhouse with infinityEdge display with optional touch screen, Windows 10 Pro and 15.6" FHD (1920x1080) infinityEdge display. 15.6", 4K ultra HD (3840x2160) infinityEdge touch display including 1 TB hard drive.

3.      15.6" QHD touch display, premium materials and powerful Core i5-4200H processor, 4^th generation Core i7-47020HQ processor (6M cache up to 3.2 GHz), Windows 8.1, 8.1 pro, windows 7 Premium, Professional and Ultimate, 8GB/16GB dual channel DDR3L SDRAM at 1600 MHz.

Last year dell revealed XPS 15 details in the CES event at Las Vegas after confidential information were leaked about the device. Further details, supply chain mechanism, bookings, delivery status and available stocks are expected to be revealed in the next few days. Dell is competing Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, Xiaomi and HP like established brands in the laptop market. Dell has enjoyed monopoly in laptop markets before the competition started from the above mentioned rivals.
