‘Final Fantasy XII’ Set For July Market Debut, To Showcase Various Features

Square Enix has just announced the release date of the "Final Fantasy XII" remastered version. A recent Tokyo event was the occasion the developer picked to make the big announcement. The remaster is landing on the PlayStation 4 on July.

According to Engadget, Square Enix has made two release announcements during the recent Tokyo event. First, North American and European fans will get the "Final Fantasy XII" remaster on July 11. Asian players won't have to wait for too long to get their hands on the game. It will roll out in Japan and other regions in Asia on July 13.

So far, the revelations on the "Final Fantasy XII" remaster include cutscenes, improvements in terms of environments, and a new soundtrack for players to enjoy. "The Zodiac Age" will also feature a breezy 1080p resolution and a trial mode. The said mode will allow players to battle against monsters in successive rounds. The battle rounds can go up to 100 sequences.

Fans who have been playing "Final Fantasy" have been wanting to get a "Final Fantasy VII" remastered edition. Square Enix has yet to deliver the highly anticipated remake. However, the "Final Fantasy XII" remaster on the way may make up for the issues that some players pointed out with the "Final Fantasy XIII" trilogy.

Meanwhile, it is expected that the "Final Fantasy XII" remaster will feature music options for fans. According to Game Spot, players will be allowed to choose between two options: re-recorded music, or the original score. More details about the music feature have yet to arrive.

Also, loading times have been reduced, as confirmed by the developer. This was an issue that some players noticed in the earlier version of the game. It is also expected that the "Final Fantasy XII" remaster will see a more rounded Turbo Mode.
