Apple has just released a developer beta for the WatchOS. WatchOS 3.2 brings Apple smartwatch users "Theater Mode", plus support for SiriKit.

A week after releasing update 3.1.3, Apple has released WatchOS 3.2 developer beta. In a report by MacRumors, this is the wearable's most major update after the release of WatchOS 3.1 three months ago.

The beta for the WatchOS 3.2 can be downloaded on the iPhone through the watch's dedicated Apple Watch application. Developers simply have to go to General, and click Software Update. The Apple Watch must have at least 50 percent battery, placed on the wearable's charger, and must also be in range of the iPhone and must be running iOS 10.

WatchOS 3.2 brings Apple Smartwatch the new "Theater Mode" and it will be different from "Do Not Disturb" mode, according to Neurogadget. "Theater Mode" will activate when the user goes into a theater/cinema where sound and light coming from the watch might disturb other audiences.

When the "Do Not Disturb" mode is enabled on the watch, notifications will no longer appear on the screen. But when the users get a notification, the screen still tends to light up.  With the new "Theater Mode," unless the user will press on, getting notifications won't activate the screen anymore.

WatchOS 3.2's "Theater Mode" will also be better in tracking sleep movement. Apparently, when users move, the watch's screen tends to light up, possibly waking up the user. With "Theater Mode" on, moving won't activate the screen anymore leading to a much more pleasant sleep.

WatchOS 3.2 also brings more support for SiriKit. Users can now ask Siri to do errands, such as sending payments online, booking a taxi, making a call, or even searching through photos. Since the release of iOS 10 to all devices, SiriKit has been available except for the Apple Watch until now.

Again, WatchOS 3.2 is strictly for developers only, with no news of Apple releasing the furnished OS in the near future - yet. Apple restricts betas for the public as software downgrading is not possible for Apple Watches.
