Rob Kardashian is being sued for alleged assault and robbery by a female photographer who claims that he snatched her camera and stole her memory card when she was trying to take shirtless pictures of him at a gym in West Hollywood.
The incident took place in February and it is alleged that Kardashian has since offered to pay for the memory card, according to UPI.
The photographer, Andra Vaik, says that she feels violated and that Kardashian damaged her personal camera equipment, according to the Examiner.
Recent reports suggest that Kardashian may have possibly struck Viak during the confrontation, according to the Inquisitr.
"While this case is still in the preliminary stage, it is clear from our investigation that Robert Kardashian's violent behavior and his use of force towards Ms. Viak was completely unjustified," Viak's lawyer told TMZ.
Kardashian claims that the photographer was waiting in the garage at his West Hollywood gym for the opportunity to snap a picture and eyewitnesses back up this claim, MSN news reports.
Kardashian, who has been struggling with his weight, insists that Viak was trespassing on private property in order to snap a money-making photo of him topless, according to MSN. He says that he was justified in taking her memory card because what she was doing was illegal.
Rob has told friends that he was changing into his gym clothes inside of the private garage at the gym, in an area not visible from the street, when the photographer began snapping photos of him, according to TMZ. The private gym, owned by trainer Gunnar Peterson, requires members to have a code in order to enter the garage and it is unclear how Vaik was able to gain entry.
TMZ reports that, "Rob's story almost certainly does not create a defense to robbery, but prosecutors may back off if a jury would be inclined to hate the victim."
Kardashian, 26, has been exercising twice a day, is on a low-carb diet, and has set himself a target of losing five pounds before the 4th of July, hoping to attract ''beautiful women," according to MSN. ''Every time I hop in the shower and see myself naked I cry, because my p#nis looks so small. The upside is, every time you lose 10 lbs you gain an inch on your p#nis," he said last month.
