As promised, J. Cole dropped Truly Yours 2 in order to show appreciation for his fans. The follow-up to Truly Yours contains the previously released "Cole Summer" as well as 5 new tracks from the NC MC.

The EP contains contributions from the artist formerly known as Tity Boi (2 Chainz on the track "Chris Tucker") and Young Jeezy on the track "Kenny Lofton" (if that track doesn't have a play on speed or stealing in it, I'll eat my hat).

The EP's cover is a handwritten note that says "See You June 25th. Truly Yours 2, J. Cole."

Cole released the album after a 2-day buildup. First he dropped the D'Angelo/Lauryn Hill sampling single "Cole Summer" on the world.

"This right here is not a preview," he wrote on Twitter before providing followers with a link to his new material.

After an overwhelming response, he announced plans to release Truly Yours 2 today.

"Fuck it. Truly Yours 2 tomorrow. You Deserve it," he wrote.

Truly Yours 2 is not actually a new album proper. The reason he referred to June 25th is because that is the release date of Cole's second studio album Born Sinner. However, the blast of new music from Cole does a lot to tide fans over. You can download it for free via Sharebeast.

The debut single from Born Sinner "Power Trip (feat. Miguel)" is already in the Top 40 and has over 5 million views on YouTube.
