SpaceX CEO Elon Musk recently made an announcement, stating that a new "upgraded" version of the Falcon 9 will be arriving soon. SpaceX CEO Elon Musk recently made an exciting announcement. He stated that a brand-new, "upgraded" version of the Falcon 9 missile will be launched soon. The Falcon 9 rocket is essentially used to deliver a satellite for the EchoStar Corporation. The Falcon 9 rocket was launched on January 30. The launch took place from the Kennedy Space Centre that is situated in Florida.

The Falcon 9 missile consisting of a re-usable rocket along with a 5.5-metric ton communication satellite aimed at a geostationary transfer orbit. The Falcon 9 rocket was among the most-anticipated launches of SpaceX, as the company plans on using this launch as a booster of sorts. "Future flights will go on Falcon Heavy or the upgraded Falcon 9," Elon Musk's tweet read.

Apart from that, Alon Musk also stated that the upgraded version of the Falcon 9 rocket will be called Black 5. The rocket is set to improve the performance output and the re-usability of the missile. According to CNN, SpaceX Falcon 9 was exploded in September, 2016.

As per a report by Brainiacs From Mars, the Falcon 9 rocket is built in a way that fits perfectly as a form of two-stage-to orbit. The rocket is solely developed and manufactured by SpaceX. There are three different versions of this rocket. One, Falcon 9v1.0, the other Falcon 9v1.1 and the last, Falcon 9 Full Thrust - out of these, only the last one will be put to use.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk also recently conducted a "Ask Me Anything" session on Twitter wherein his followers could interact and ask him questions regarding the latest mission. The company claims that the latest, upgraded version of the Falcon 9 rocket is perhaps, one of the most powerful one in the world till date.
