It can be remembered that during the 74th Golden Globe Awards, Andrew Garfield and Ryan Reynolds was seen locking lips with each other. Andrew reveals the real reason why.

During "The Late Show" episode last month, Andrew told Stephen Colbert the reason why he kissed Ryan. Andrew's reason was he just wanted [Ryan] to know that he loved him whether he won the Best Actor award or not. He also added that his love for Ryan will never change.

Apparently, this was not Andrew's real reason. According to Teen Vogue, his kiss to Ryan was planned. Andrew revealed this during his interview with Graham Norton on Friday, Feb. 3.

"It was a ridiculous thing," he told Graham. "I said to Ryan Reynolds, 'If you win, kiss me instead of your wife."

Ryan was apparently down with the idea. Andrew's plan was if Ryan won, Ryan would then lean towards his wife Blake as if he was about to kiss her, but then turn towards Andrew at the last second, and kiss him instead. But then Reynolds did not win the award, so Andrew suggested to just kiss anyway, which was caught on the camera as Ryan Gosling climbed to the stage to receive the Best Actor award for the movie "La La Land".

But who was the better kisser: was it Andrew or Blake? "I'm going to go with my wife on that one, for a number of reasons," Ryan told ET. He also added that Andrew is a generous and wonderful kisser, "with a real darting tongue."

Meanwhile, Andrew was blessed of being nominated for an Oscar for his role in "Hacksaw Ridge" for the first time in his career. But instead of his fellow nominee Emma Stone, he would be bringing his dad - saying that it was his father in the first place, that made him fall in love with movies back when he was a kid.
