Lady Gaga has always been known for her strong position on empowerment and uplifting self esteem. Through her songs like "Born This Way" and "Million Reasons," she has championed acceptance and love for one another. In a recent Instagram post after her Superbowl performance, she has proven that she has no patience for those who are quick to judge others and turned the tables on those who criticized her outfits and body.

Twitter lit up with criticisms about Lady Gaga's less than perfect figure as well as the skimpy outfits that she used for her Super Bowl performance as the show was going on. However, the bashing was not lost on the hit singer who immediately fired back at her critics in a very composed way, The Standard UK reported.

"I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you, a portion of Lady Gaga's caption read. She also posted a snap of her performance and expressed her love for her supporters.

Prior to her electric Super Bowl performance, Lady Gaga said that the message of her halftime show will be consistent with a cause she has been championing since the beginning of her career - inclusion, Deadline reported. While the singer has built a reputation for being out of the box of the box, her songs have always consistently carried the message of recognizing and embracing each other's differences.

According to the Grammy Award winning singer-songwriter, she wants to promote the message of inclusion and equality through her music. She also said that she wants to inspire love for country in her performance which she touched upon when she included the song God Bless America in her medley. The message was further emphasized by thousands of drones that lit up the sky with the colors of the US flag. The Super Bowl Halftime is being credited for spiking sales of her music by 1,000 percent.
