Capcom finally dropped the veil of mystery on the next "Street Fighter 5" DLC character. After much teasing from the developer, it was finally announced right on schedule that an ice-based character will be joining the roster of playable characters available for the fifth game of the franchise.

The upcoming "Street Fighter 5" Season 2 DLC character is actually the ice-based Kolin, also known by her alias Helen, Eurogamer reported. With her ice abilities and agility, she is shaping up to be one formidable character.

Kolin actually made her first appearance into the franchise as a non-playable character in "Street Fighter 3," Game Spot reported. An agent of the Illuminati and Gill's assistant, she tirelessly works in the background to fulfill Gill's plans. Kolin is said to be very loyal to Gill, her calm demeanor can quickly turn into rage for anyone that may threaten her master.

Kolin will be the second "Street Fighter 5" Season 2 DLC character to be introduced. She follows Akuma who became a DLC character last December.

The upcoming "Street Fighter 5" Season 2DLC character will be a force to reckon with. Kolin has deadly icicles and icy blasts as part of her arsenal of combat skills. In addition, she also mastered Systema, Russian martial art which uses an opponent's momentum to gain an advantage. It was likewise revealed that her V-Skill is called Inside Slash, her V-Trigger is Diamond Dust while her Critical Art is called Frost Tower.

Kolin will be available as a "Street Fighter 5" Season 5 playable DLC character by February 28. She is included in the Season 2 Character pass, which sells for $30, and also include the previously revealed DLC character Akuma. Meanwhile, stay tuned to MStarsNews as more DLC characters are expected to be revealed by Capcom throughout this year.
