Jennifer Lopez, Drake Split: ‘Timing’ NOT Right for Whirlwind Romance

The two-month relationship of Jennifer Lopez and Drake has ended... at least for now. Sources have revealed that the couple have decided to split for the time being as the world-famous rapper continues his European tour.

According to U.S. Weekly, an insider said Jennifer Lopez and Drake have called it quits "for now." It is speculated that Drake will try to fix his relationship with the "Booty" singer after he completes his tour. The "Forever" rapper is expected to return to Los Angeles in the coming month.

Jennifer Lopez and Drake first ignited talks of a romance during the holidays of 2016. The rapper was spotted attending two of the "Let's Get Loud" singer's shows in Las Vegas. Lopez, on the other hand was invited by Drake to a private dinner party and afterwards, photographs of the two leaving the location together emerged.

Before news of the split broke on Friday, Jennifer Lopez and Drake seemed to have a pretty serious romance as the "Dance Again" singer introduced the rapper to her kids. A source revealed that Drake has been to Lopez's house a couple of times already.

J.Lo has also taken to Instagram to hint that it was "timing" that came in between her latest romance. E! News added that a source said the issue was about Jennifer Lopez and Drake realizing that their "schedules started getting insane." J.Lo stars in "Shades of Blue" and is also having her tour.

It appears that the short-lived romance between Jennifer Lopez and Drake may have been truly serious after all. J.Lo has been posting cryptic messages on social media, seemingly sending Drake a taste of what he has lost over the break up. The "Fake Love" rapper, on the other hand, has maintained silence.
