The upcoming television series "24: Legacy" on Fox network directed by Stephen Hopkins and Kiefer Sutherland, a former 24 actor, will have two premiere nights. "24: Legacy" started airing last Feb. 6.

"24: Legacy" consists of 12 episodes played by Corey Hawkins as Eric Carter, a war hero; Miranda Otto as Rebecca Ingram, the counter terrorist former head; and Jimmy Smits as John Donovan, candidate for the next President and Rebecca's husband. The show took place in the U.S. where they aim to stop the terrorist attacks on American soil as he returns. From the original series executive producer Brian Grazer, Howard Gordon, Evan Katz and Manny Coto according to Deadline.

Kiefer Sutherland as the lead protagonist Jack Bauer.Corey played the role for almost 10 years in the 24 series. Hawkins is known as Dr. Dre in Straight Outta Compto. As he follows Kiefer Stutherland's footsteps as an American action hero, "the pressure has always been there and without those obstacles, I wouldn't be able to pursue the role", says Hawkins.

Sutherland, currently plays as the president in Designated Survivor drama series, will be on the new 24 as executive producer. On 2001, the original show 24 launch two months after the 9-11 attack. For a decade, we have witness Sutherland in the 8 series of the original 24 series as a veteran American hero actor with its shocking plots. In 2014, Sutherland returned for the Season 9 of 24: Live Another Day. Most of the story is the same as the original just like when Carter leads a mission to assassinate a terrorist leader.

The Fox executives say that they are rest-assured that they have a victor. "Carter, he will assist in preserving peace in the country as well as to overcome the challenges he is facing", says Brian. With the new set of casts, Brian Grazer believes that the new "24: Legacy" will touch the viewers just how the original touch the viewers for many years, as cited in Star Telegram.
