2017 Grammys is one of the biggest music shows of the year that will recognize the best of music releases of 2016 starting from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016. Every year, Grammy Awards offer intrigue and excitement in various categories. Listed below are five categories to watch out for at 2017 Grammy Awards because of their highly competitive nature.

Record of the Year: This is the most eyed up category in the 2017 Grammy Awards as Adele (nominated for "Hello") and Beyoncé (nominated for "Formation") are up against each other for the top stop. Rihanna and Drake collaboration in "Work" can disrupt the battle between Adele and Beyoncé.  However, the new contenders Twenty One Pilots' "Stressed Out" and Lukas Graham's "7 Years" may get more Grammy voters than the known names in this category, reported Vox.

Pop Duo/ Group Performance: The three songs that defined pop radio in 2016 are nominated for Pop Duo/ Group Performance for 2017 Grammys. "Closer" by The Chainsmokers (feat. Halsey), "Cheap Thrills" by Sia (feat. Sean Paul) and Rihanna's "Work" (feat. Drake) are battling in this category for the Grammy Award.

Best Country Album: Sturgill Simpson's "A Sailor's Guide to Earth" and "Hero" by Maren Morris are the top contenders in the Best Country Album Category at the 2017 Grammys. Loretta Lynn's "Full Circle" is also giving Simpson and Morris a tough fight, reported Billboard.

Best New Artist: The country ladies Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris will race for the Best New Artist category at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Also, the former BNA winners Carrie Underwood and LeAnn Rimes may race up to the top. The Chainsmokers may also become the first ever winner in this category this year.

Best Urban Contemporary Album: Beyonce and Rihanna will fight in this category along with three super talented upstarts Beyonce's "Lemonade" and Rihanna's "Anti" are up against King's "We Are King, Anderson .Paak's "Malibu" and Gallant's "Ology" in the Best Urban Contemporary Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
