Nintendo Switch is the most anticipated handheld console right now. Games from big franchises is expected to come with Switch this 2017 including "Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild" and "Fire Emblem Warriors". There is also an anticipated Pokémon game for Switch and it is said to be the third version of the successful "Pokémon Sun and Moon". The game is rumored to be titled "Pokémon Stars" and here's what is known so far about it.

According to Eurogamer, Pokemon Stars is already well into development and is about to be launched this year. It is also reported that the game is being developed with higher resolution and better graphics overall than its 3DS brothers. The Pokemon Stars would be the first ever third version of Pokemon game that will not be sharing the same console with its brothers.

As reported by Mic, the Pokemon Stars might be boosted with Pokemon Sun and Moon. It is not clear yet what kind of boost Sun and Moon players might get. There is also a weird cinematic that was discovered by Reddit user ronnknee. To trigger the cinematic, first put Solrock and Lunatone in party and fly to Ula'ula Island's Ruins of Abundance. An old man would be there in red shirt. He would notice the Lunatone and Solrock and memories will flash back to him. Watch the cinematic below.

The Pokemon Stars is rumored to be released later this year. If there is a feature that old players missed, it is the Pokemon Gym battles that has been the core of almost all Pokemon games since the Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue days. Pokemon gyms would be a good addition (or rather a good comeback) for Pokemon Stars. Though it would be more interesting if the player can make his/her own gym and be the first gym in Alola.
