The recently concluded Grammy Awards yield a new set of artists who dominated their field. Adele and Beyonce are both nominated in major categories, learn who between the two dominates.

The Virginia Pilot reported that the "Lemonade" singer and the "Hello" artist are leading the Grammy nominations. Adele and Beyonce are nominated in the core categories including record, song, and album of the year. However, Beyonce got the most nominations. Her "Lemonade" album earned nine Grammy nominations.

The two artists break from the pop tradition. Beyonce is bold in her feminism stand. In fact, her songs speak about her political statement.

Meanwhile, Adele is more of a traditional. She tries to avoid political issues on her work of arts. So, who between the two won in most categories they are nominated?

CBS News released a full list of winners for the Grammy awards 2017. It turns out that both artists won the same number of awards.

Adele's "Hello" won the Pop Solo Performance. Her album titled "25" is the Pop Vocal Album of the year. Meanwhile, Beyonce's "Formation" is the Best Music Video. Her album "Lemonade" is also recognized as the Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Aside from the announcement of winners, one of the most anticipated parts of the Grammy awards 2017, was Beyonce's performance. Per E! News the "Single Ladies" singer performed for her twins. What makes her performance even more special is that her mom Tina Knowles was the one who introduced her.

"I'm blessed to have daughters-wonderful daughters-all of whom make me proud with everything they do," said Tina Knowles. "I believe she earned nine Grammy nominations for her Lemonade album this year because of all of that and more. It's evident in her powerful words and music."
