Apple is reported to have submitted an unknown wireless communication device to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Apple doesn't install third party Bluetooth. Communications and offline data transfers are made only through indigenous file sharing system which not accessible for third party wireless devices.

Apple previously submitted devices with model Numbers A1844 and A1846 with Federal Communications Commission for Approval. This time the device model number is A1845 which shows that this new device model number is in between A1844 and A186.

It is presumed by Digital Trends, the mysterious device is a Bluetooth LE or NFC. The proposed device has a unique number which has not been assigned to any other device yet. When Apple filed its first device with FCC for approval, tech analysts sensed it as Apple TV but later is was revealed that the device is most probably the internal communications device.

Apple uses iBeacon as an internal communication tool for iOS devices. Apple has requested secrecy to the FCC about their new device. The mystery will only be over once the device is approved by FCC and officially launched.

The mysterious device could be a new Wi-Fi router, a Siri-enabled smart speaker but the first assumption favors the Bluetooth device. Apple's request for confidentiality in terms of user manuals and photos, schematics points to the speculation the device is brand new and innovative for Apple. There is at least something novel and unique.

Mac Rumors pointed to the possibility that the device might be specific to internal use only or it can be used for retail transactions on Apple stores such as iBeacon based hardware or product display. Some sources referred to the Antenna gains and Antenna diagrams on the device.

These signatures confirm the nature of the device and it is a communication device. That's all we can predict for the time being. Apple's usually make suspense but often break it soon.
