'The Voice' Coach Blake Shelton Warns Gwen Stefani to Never Steal A Singer from His Team

Gwen Stefani will be joining boyfriend Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys when “The Voice” returns for its Season 12. It is no secret how competitive the coaches could get in building their teams. With this, Shelton shared what will happen if and when Stefani steals a contender from his team.

As every “The Voice” fan knows, the format of the Emmy award winning reality talent show allows a coach to steal a talent from another team. If and when this scenario happens between him and Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton shared what awaits the “Hollaback Girl” singer.

Blake Shelton said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight  that Gwen Stefani might find herself in a not so comfortable situation. “She is sleeping on the couch,” the five-time “The Voice” winner teased, “that’s what will happen.”

“The Voice” Season 12 is expected to bring in another exciting and tough singing competition among the aspiring singers from the teams of the four superstar coaches. The new season will premiere on February 27 on NBC. But, even with the competitive nature of the show, Gwen Stefani admits that working with Blake Shelton has been a fun experience.

According to a UPI report, the 45-year-old singer doesn’t find their working environment awkward at all. She also gushed about the other two returning “The Voice” coaches, Levine and Keys. She described the chemistry among the coaches as magical, easy and comfortable.

Blake Shelton, 40, and Gwen Stefani met on “The Voice” set in 2014. They were both coming fresh from their splits from their respective spouses, Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale. They started dating the following year.

In a related news about the “The Voice” couple, they spent Valentine’s day apart due to their busy schedules. They still managed to connect, however. Gwen Stefani shared that Blake Shelton forgot to call her but later redeemed himself by sending some beautiful flowers and sending lots of texts. All in all, it was a fun day for the couple.
