Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey 'American Idol' Beef: Minaj Uses Twitter To Throw Shade At Fellow Judge

Nicki Minaj said some nasty things to Mariah Carey. This is about as surprising as finding out that the sky is blue at this point, but what was interesting about this particular shade-throwing between the American Idol judges is the fact that Minaj took the beef beyond the show to the realm of Twitter.

After a show in which Minaj told Carey to "clean her ears out," Nicki ran to the social media platform to air her thoughts on Mrs. Mariah.

"Bwaha! Burn? Shes sad i tied her record for Hot 100 entries in only 3 years of being in the game. Yep, a black female rapper," Minaj wrote. However, the "Beez in the Trap" rapper was far from done.

Going for the TKO, Minaj lobbed a third volley in the direction of the "Honey" singer.

This tweet not only bashes Mariah but lends weight to the rumor that J. Lo may, in fact, return as an American Idol judge next season.
