'Sister Wives' Season 8 Update: Kody Brown And Family Cope With Revelations And New Members

Since Kody Brown and his plural family are already on “Sister Wives” Season 8, one would think that they would have ran out of surprises to give their viewers by now. Recent events, however, are proving this to be wrong.

So far, “Sister Wives” Season 8 has featured a lot of changes for the Brown family. Kody Brown’s daughter with second wife Janelle Brown, Maddie, is expecting her first child with husband Caleb Brush. Married in June 2016, the young couple recently had a grand gender reveal party at Christine Brown’s Las Vegas home last January 9.

In an Us Magazine interview, Maddie and Caleb said they had a strong hunch that it was going to be a boy. They went on to say that it was a good feeling to finally know since they can start preparing for the baby’s arrival.

Other highlights of “Sister Wives” Season 8 include the first birthday of Kody and Robyn Brown’s daughter, Ariella, and Mykelti’s wedding. She is Kody’s daughter with Christine Brown and she got married to Tony last December. They first met strong opposition to their marriage mainly because of their rather short engagement. Their wedding also was coming too close to the heels of Maddie’s wedding.

The biggest shocker of “Sister Wives” Season 8, however, is Mariah’s recent revelation that she is gay. Her mother, Meri Brown, was first upset upon hearing this because she felt that she should have known what her daughter was going through.

Mariah got Kody Brown’s support although her sexual orientation is against his Mormon fundamentalist faith. He also said that he admired her daughter for having the courage to come out reports People. The other wives also expressed their support for Mariah.
