All female K-Pop act TWICE released new single "Knock Knock" last February 19, 2017. The girl group from JYP Entertainment also went ahead to become chart toppers after just a few hours of their song's release.

"Knock Knock" by TWICE was likened by Billboard to a confectionery. Their chart-topping single "Knock Knock" has a pop bubblegum beat to it. That is then coupled with an '80s house tune that makes the song truly cheerful. Those two intersperse with other musical elements such as electronic and rock. All those things make the song incredibly catchy and contagious. And there is one more thing that makes the bubblegum song unique. It is that it does not have vocals in the bridge right after the chorus.

Nevertheless, TWICE cannot be faulted for the sweetness "Knock Knock". Because that was the very thing that propelled them to the top of all 8 music charts in South Korea. This feat is what is considered an all-kill in the East Asian country's music industry. And the girl group achieved this in a matter of hours only, according to ALLKPOP.

The new single by TWICE is also a part of their latest EP "Twicecoaster: Lane 2". This is a repackaged version of "Twicecoaster: Lane 1". It includes two new songs: "Knock Knock" and the slow, blues-like "Ice Cream". This brings the total number of songs of the EP to nine. Aside from the addition of two new songs, Lane 2" also features updated versions of its previous songs. "TT", "Cheer Up", and "Like Ooh-Ahh" underwent remixing and stripping down to the instrumentals for the EP's release.

Since debuting into the music scene in 2015, TWICE has been successful in their endeavors. They entered with "Like Ooh-Ahh" and they are showing with "Knock Knock" that they are a force to be reckoned with. On top of that, they never fail to impress with their charming music videos.
