‘Jane the Virgin’ Season 3 Spoilers: Jane-Rafael Reconnection Happening Soon?

Everything has changed in "Jane the Virgin." It's been very hard for some fans to watch this week's episode. Things may get harder in the coming weeks. The latest "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 spoilers suggest that Jane and Rafael may find love in each other's arms again.

As fans know, Michael (Brett Dier) has unfortunately been killed off. It was a very difficult moment for Michael and Jane (Gina Rodriguez) shippers. Now that Michael is gone, it is speculated that Jane and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) may get back together in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 very soon.

However, Bustle notes that this may not be what Jane is thinking of at this time. Though three years have passed since Michael's death, she may still feel that it's not time to fall in love again. Recent "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 spoilers hint that she may pursue being a novelist and this could be her priority.

Aside from Jane's dreams for herself and Mateo, there is another issue that has to be resolved. Rafael still has a lot of life reflections to make before things work out in terms of romance. Even if fans want Jane and Rafael romantically linked in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, moving on from the past isn't the easiest thing to do.

Speaking with Deadline after Michael was killed off in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3, showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman said the writers believed the character's death was on point. Michael's death was put in place so everyone related to him can resort to change.

While Jane and Rafael may find love in the future, it's clear that it won't be happening anytime soon in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3. Mateo will always keep them connected. However, Michael's death will loom around, probably even until Season 4.
