The last episode of "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 1 showed a clue that Season 2 will be coming soon. Creator Mitsuro Kubo confirmed that her next plan, after joining the Grand Prix Final, is that he will be working hard on this project. Yet it seems that the next season may not happen this year.

After "Yuri!!! On Ice" Season 1 ended last December 2016, fans have been yelling for more. The anime captured the hearts of the many and now they can hardly wait for Season 2. Rumors have it that the next season will happen late this year, probably inOctober, as the first season aired on the same month, Korea Portal claimed.

After the success of the series, it would be impossible for the creator and the director to let go. Kubo knows that dropping the series would surely disappoint the fans who was already hooked on the series. According to Inquisitr, the last episode shows Yuri and Victor on the bridge while they were about to approach with each other with a smile and a wave on the air. Then suddenly words appear "See You NEXT LEVEL."

The "See You NEXT LEVEL" which marked across the screen has left hope for the fans. Kubo has won the silver medal during the Grand Prix Final, yet fans are hoping that he will grab the gold medal on the next season of "Yuri!!! On Ice." Fans also wanted Yuri to continue the training with Victor to grab the price.

Kubo also added that they had a lot of plans together with the director of the series next year that includes her plan to create a sequel. Despite all these, there is still a great hope that Season 2 is going to happen. October is months away which seem impossible for the series to come out that soon.
