Rihanna turned 29 today and guess what, her ex boyfriend Drake did something really special for her. During his concert in Dublin on Monday night, the "Hotline Bling" singer wished Rihanna in his own unique ways.

Though the former couple split up a few months ago-and he's since been linked to Jennifer Lopez-the rapper shouted out and said, "It's somebody's birthday today-somebody I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect for, So, instead of singing 'Happy birthday,' though, we just going to do this in Dublin. Instead of singing 'Happy Birthday,' we're going to set it off just like this.." A fan shared a recorded video in which Drake gives a shout out to Rihanna, Refinery 29 reported.

According to E Online, the "One Dance" singer, who parted ways with Rihanna in October 2016 after an on-off relationship, took an emotional moment to wish his ex, without referring to her by name, a happy birthday, but instead of getting the crowd to sing the traditional tune, he simply began performing their collaboration Work. After which he began his "Work," his collaboration with Rihanna, began playing.

Last year at the VMAs, he bought her a billboard before she was honored with MTV's Video Vanguard Award. He also ended up taking the stage at the show to give her the award.

He later quoted that Rihanna is a living legend in the industry and she's someone he has been in love with since he was just 22 years of age. He also said that Rihanna is her best friend and all his life so far he has believed in her, even though she's much younger than him. She is truly a living, breathing legend.

Seems like Drake is still in love with Rihanna and is taking some time to get over her. Here is the video for you!!
