Selena Gomez's newfound focus is none other than herself. It is high time Selena wishes to be defined by her relationships and boyfriends as she is proud of her work and wants people to define her by her accomplishments.

The actress turned singer wants ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber to move on from her. Reportedly Selena is not furious at Bieber over his attacks on her new boyfriend, The Weeknd and has severed all ties with him, reported TMZ.

Every other person on social media tries to define her by the guy in her life and Selena is sick of this. She wants people to see beyond the guy she is dating and talk about her work and her success. Being the most followed celebrity on Instagram with 110 million fans, Selena thinks people should stop getting crazy about her personal life, reported Mail Online. She expects her fans to take more interest in her life as an artist.

The growing focus on her love life and her boyfriends is the only reason why Selena Gomez chose not to attend the Grammy Awards 2017 with The Weeknd. Missing the Grammys was a deliberate attempt on her part to make sure she is seen as her own person and her identity as an artist doesn't get overshadowed by her relationship with The Weeknd.

On the work front, Selena Gomez is killing the music scene with her collaboration with DJ Kygo for her latest single, "It Ain't Me," which was released last week. The same day Selena thanked her Instagram fans with a sweet post to celebrate 110 million followers.

On the other hand speculations of Selena's romance with The Weeknd don't seem to die as their fans and followers think The Weeknd's latest track, "Some Way," takes a dig at Bieber. Selena Gomez had dated Justin Bieber for nearly five years.
