‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 80 Preview: Lavenda Blinds Gohan With Poison

Fans can expect more action in "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80. The upcoming episode will showcase another high level fight between Universes 7 and 9, the second fight of the Zen Exhinition Match.

At Goku's request, Zen-Oh decided to hold the Tournament of Power that will pit teams composed of the three strongest warriors from each of the eleven universes. For Universe 7, the team is composed of Goku, his son Gohan and Majin Buu in lieu of Vegeta, who cannot join as his wife is about to give birth. However, the actual Tournament of Power will not yet occur in the coming "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80.

In the recently aired "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 79 shown in Crunchyroll, it was a very interesting battle between Basil, a fighter from Universe 9 against Majin Buu, Goku's friend and member of the Universe 7 team. At the start, it appeared that Majin Buu was the underdog as his foe managed to land kick after kick to his body.

But as the fight progressed, it was revealed that the innocent Majin Buu did not bother to counterstrike because he thought it was just a game, as suggested by Mr. Satan. But when Mr Satan was hit by Basil's attack, an angered Majin Buu revealed his true strength. His opponent had to resort to a performance enhancement drug but in the end Majin Buu was just too strong and won the match in "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 79.

In the released "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80 preview, Gohan will represent Universe 7 while a warrior named Lavenda, Comic Book reported. With Majin Buu bagging the first round, team Universe 7 will be expecting the match to be a walk in the park as well.

However, their plans may hit a snag according to "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 80 spoilers. Just like the previous Universe 9 fighter Basil, Lavenda will not be shy in using tricks to get the upper hand. This time, it is hinted that he will be using poison to blind Gohan.
