"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is still far but fans are already wondering who lives and dies in the installment. Will any of the Starks live to appear in Season 8? What happens to the major characters? Read below to find out.

Fans can be assured that Sansa Stark does not die in "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Sophie Turner let slip a tiny plot spoiler about her character in an interview about her filming schedule. According to Den of Geek, she revealed that she has her schedule free in 2017 for the filming of Season 8. "We just finished shooting season 7 of Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men [Supernova] starts. And then we go onto season 8," Turner said.

As for Bran, Arya and Jon, so far speculations about their fate in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 are good. Bran is now the Seer and Jon the new King of the North, so they are too important to die. Meanwhile, Arya remains a strong character and she demonstrates her strength in the murder of a major character-Petyr Baelish. Speculations have it that she kills Littlefinger under Sansa's orders after they both learned, that he has plotted them against each other.

Unfortunately, Benjen Stark dies in "Game of Thrones" Season 7 Episode 6, when he sacrifices himself to save Jon Snow. Likewise, Olena Tyrell dies in the hands of Jaimie Lannister. He kills her after he learns that she poisoned Joffrey. Randyll Tarly and his son Dickon supposedly also dies, when Daenerys orders her dragons to attack those kingdoms that refused to work with her.

Meanwhile, reports have it that the premiere of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is on June 25. According to Digital Spy, IMDB leaked the date, which the site immediately removed. Regardless, HBO has yet to announce the official premiere date.

Other characters expected to return to "Game of Thrones" Season 7 include Jorah Mormont, Gendry, Davos and Lady Lyanna. Likewise, Sam, Gilly and the Lannisters Jaimie, Cersei and Tyron, are expected to appear, among others.
