Chris Kelly, Kriss Kross Death Update: Footage Surfaces From Day Of Kelly's Death

Chris "Mac Daddy" Kelly, of 90s kid rap duo Kriss Kross, was found dead of an apparent drug overdose last week at the age of 34. Now, TMZ has uncovered footage of the rapper from early in the morning on the day of his death.

In the video, Kelly raps the lyrics to an unfinished song that he was working on before he died.The video purports to be from 7AM, Kelly was pronounced dead around 5:30 PM.

Kelly, who had dealt with substance abuse problems previously, had been clean for a long time. However, his habit reportedly reared its head once more after a February reunion concert for Jermaine Dupri's So So Def label.

Kelly's mother, Donna Kelly Pratte, revealed that her son had died in a statement to Us Weekly.

"It is with deep sadness that we announce that our beloved Chris Kelly has passed away on May 1. To millions of fans worldwide, he was the trendsetting, backwards pants-wearing one-half of Kris Kross who loved making music. But to us, he was just Chris - the kind, generous and fun-loving life of the party. Though he was only with us a short time, we feel blessed to have been able to share some incredible moments with him. His legacy will live on through his music, and we will forever love him."

Kelly's funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 9 in Atlanta.
