Princess Beatrice of York is pursuing a business career and she recently won her first client, Afiniti, an international tech-based company. Although the British royal has been seen with Afiniti's founder in business meetings, the company has kept quiet about the exact work Princess Beatrice does as a business matchmaker.

Just like her father, Prince Andrew, Duke of York, Princess Beatrice is also dipping her toes into a business career track. According to Telegraph, the British royal was seen with Afiniti's founder, Zia Chishti, during the World Economic Forum and several lunch meetings with British entrepreneurs.

Afiniti is a technology-based company with offices in Brazil, United States, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Pakistan, and Hong Kong. The company is currently exploring a listing in New York. A spokesperson for Princess Beatrice confirmed that she is, indeed, working with Afiniti. There have been no official statements, though, about her job description.

Furthermore, the company told the Daily Beast that it will not be discussing the princess' connection with Afiniti. According to the publication, Princess Beatrice had started her business matchmaking agency in June. This was after she left her previous job at Sandbridge Capital in New York. She had also worked before as a production analyst at Sony Pictures.

Princess Beatrice does not receive any direct taxpayer income from the Sovereign Grant, so it makes sense for her to pursue a career of her own. She has a degree in history from Goldsmith College in London, but is putting up shop in the United States. She is seventh in line to the throne and is currently focused on building her business career.

In her previous jobs, Princess Beatrice's exact job functions have not been revealed to the public. Her father was embroiled in several business controversies revolving around corruption. Her mother, Sarah, also tried her hand at business without much success. Friends and co-workers of the young royal, meanwhile, have reported that Princess Beatrice is hard-working and genuine in her efforts to succeed in her business.
