Abby Miller's sentencing has officially been moved to March 8. The "Dance Moms" coach is set for two and a half years of either imprisonment or parole. Meanwhile, dancer Chloe Lukasiak will return to the series after performing in a competition where she did a routine with a handcuff to throw shade at her former coach's legal drama.

"Dance Moms" coach Abby Miller is now facing up to two and a half years of jail time for fraud bankruptcy claims, according to ABC27. Miller had been dishonest about her income and was caught when a judge saw her on TV in 2012 for her "Dance Moms" reality show. Miller expressed fear at the prospect of spending a few years in jail, so her lawyers are trying to settle for probation.

Miller also did not always have a good relationship with some of her talents on "Dance Moms". One of her former students is Chloe Lukasiak, who left the dance show during Season 4 after Miller reportedly insulted her and made fun of her physical appearance. Recently, however, Lukasiak announced that she will be returning for the next half of Season 7.

According to BuddyTV, "Dance Moms" has gotten somewhat darker. The members of ALDC are no longer young children, but the routines they are doing tend to slide towards darker themes. One of the dancers played a character that got into a gang and was killed. Another one was addicted to drugs. There was also a dancer who played a girl with an eating disorder, while another one played a character with schizophrenia. Still, there was one who depicted a prostitute.

Many of the dancers' mothers didn't like the dark atmosphere at all. Miller's rival coach, Cathy, also had a brow-raising performance during the nationals. Her group brought in a male dancer to act as a human trafficker for their routine. Other people in the audience rightly voiced out their discomfort at the themes. It seems that the "Dance Moms" participants are using the opportunity to present bigger, socio-political stories.

Lukasiak took the same opportunity when she was seen performing with the Murrieta Dance Project last Feb. 26. Their routine was called "Devil's Playground". It ended with Lukasiak fishing out a handcuff and dangling it on stage. Although it could have been coincidence, it is more probable that the Lukasiaks are taking a dig at Miller, who was not always seen as kind to her "Dance Moms" talents.
