After One Direction member Louis Tomlinson and his girlfriend Eleanor Calder made headlines for being involved in an airport brawl, fans worried if the former will be banned to enter and perform in the United States. Louis was recently released on £16,000 bail after an altercation with two girls and a photographer at LAX Airport on Saturday.

Louis Tomlinson tussled with the photographer where he tripped and appeared to accidentally drag the snapper to the floor with him, with the man claiming he hit his head. On the other hand, Eleanor Calder claimed that she was pushed to the wall by two girls for taking one of the girls' smartphone for capturing the brawl.

Fortunately, TMZ dished out that Louis Tomlinson, who apparently has an entertainer visa, would not be either flagged or blocked from entering American soil as his charge is a misdemeanor only. Legally speaking, Tomlinson's immigration could only be affected if the crime he is accused of, and potentially convicted for, involves moral turpitude or great bodily harm.

One of the girls involved in the airport altercation spoke out through an emotional Instagram post to give her side of the story. Since the incident, social media users have threatened and accused the girl of wanting attention and fame that made her decided to make her Instagram profile private.

The Sun Online revealed that One Direction fans have taken the incident too far, which only made Louis charged with simple battery and a misdemeanor. Death threats from the 1D fans have flooded the girl's social media profiles. Meanwhile, Louis defended himself by claiming he was just trying to protect his on-again girlfriend Eleanor Calder.

It was revealed that Louis is set to appear in court on March 29. In the past, Louis and Eleanor dated for around three years before splitting in 2015. The couple decided to rekindle their romance following the death of Louis' mother, Johannah Poulston, aged just 43, in December last year.
