Jaden Smith and Cara Delevingne are teaming up for a new romantic drama film "Life In A Year." The film is directed by European Mitja Okorn.

The film is about a 17-year-old boy and his dying girlfriend as they journey trying to squeeze their entire life into the year she has left to live. Meanwhile, Cara Delevingne will also star in Luc Besson's Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, which will be shown in July.

Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews created the script with Overbrook Entertainment which is also owned by Jaden's dad, Will Smith, producing along with Marc Bienstock. The production will begin spring of this year in Toronto, Yahoo News shared.

Meanwhile, Jaden Smith has been off from the big screen the last few years since his last film "After Earth" alongside his father, Will Smith. According to Fox News, the film was a box office flop and was criticized as the worst film in the year 2013.

However, fans of Jaden Smith are wondering if he would still be leaving Hollywood for good. The young singer recorded on his cell phone his rant about a certain people in his life that didn't support his work and creativity. According to Jaden Smith, bad things are also happening in Hollywood.

"I'm about to move out of LA. It's hard these days to really create the life you want for yourself because there's nobody really here that's like supporting the youth or the youth's creativity."

The bizarre rant was recorded while doing live in Instagram and right after he supposedly failed his driver's license exam. Despite the rant, Jaden Smith still signed up for the new film.
