Following her split from Orlando Bloom Katy Perry nailed her performance at the iHeart Radio Music Awards on Sunday. The opening number featured her new cropped haircut and "Chained to the Rhythm."

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Katy Perry donned a red pantsuit as children dressed as laborers came in to help tell the story of her song. Skip Marley joined Perry in her performance. By the end of the number, everyone on stage made heart shapes with their hands.

The outlet notes that the performance Katy Perry gave may have been a nudge to U.S. President Donald Trump. The "Roar" singer was always open about her disapproval of Trump's politics. The child laborers in her iHeart Radio Awards performance could have been another hit at Trump's labor stand.

Aside from Katy Perry, there were other performers who took the stage at the iHeart Radio Music Awards. The list included Ed Sheeran, Big Sean, The Chainsmokers, Bruno Mars, and more.

Meanwhile, photos of Katy Perry at the iHeart Radio Awards red carpet have started making rounds online. A lot of close-up shots have been tossed on social media. The singer apparently walked the red carpet donning quinoa in her teeth.

According to the Huffington Post, Katy Perry walked the red carpet with food on her teeth and she didn't know it at first. However, the "Unconditionally" singer later took to Instagram to take a punch at her "real friends." Perry noted that these friends took the courage to tell her she had food on her teeth as she smiled to the cameras.

Katy Perry walked the red carpet solo. Multiple outlets confirmed last week that she and Orlando Bloom called it quits after dating for around ten months. Bloom was spotted with a Perry look-alike days before the split news emerged. The exes have yet to officially confirm if there was a third party involved in the break-up.
