'Prison Break: Ressurection' Season 5 Updates: Release Date Confirmed; Michael Resurrected

"Prison Break" Season 5 official title has been announced via the series' official Twitter account. The upcoming season is titled as "Prison Break: Resurrection." From the title itself, "Prison Break" Season 5 will portray the story of Michael's resurrection from death.

From the released promo of "Prison Break" Season 5, Michael's voice over obviously mean he will be back as he is heard telling the audience saying that all deaths are not the same, "Some are true, but some are not." Aside from giving an obvious hint, T-Bag is getting out of prison and being given a suspicious folder by the guard in "Prison Break" Season 5.

The said suspicious-looking folder actually contains Michael's photo. "Prison Break" Season 5, sure knows how to make viewers keep asking questions as who gave the folder was unnamed. Some believe that T-Bag is part of Michael's plan and preparation for his inevitable return, according to Deadline.

Aside from a folder, a new clue was given by the show. On some promotion photos released for "Prison Break" Season 5, it can be seen that Michael sports new tattoos. As tattoos hold significant meaning and symbols for Michael, many are confident that these tattoos will be pivotal to the season's plot. Said tattoos are done in Arabic while one of those similarly looks the eye of Horus.

Meanwhile, the release dates for "Prison Break" Season 5 premiere was finally confirmed by the showrunners. Producers of Fox confirmed that the first episode will premiere on April 4. For its fans residing abroad, "Prison Break" Season 5 will launch in Germany on April 8, in Brazil and Argentina on April 4, in Portugal on April 5, and in Sweden on April 6. As for its UK release, none has yet been confirmed.

Following that premiere, "Prison Break: Resurrection" will air as part of Fox's Tuesday night schedule for a total of nine episodes only, according to Independent. The originally planned ten episodes was decided to be shortened due to the cast's other commitments. "The entire cast is booked on other shows, so they had to squeeze a whole series into their breaks," the show's writer explained.
