John Mayer On Number 1 Spot Again on Billboard's Top Rock Albums

John Mayer is on his second time on Billboard's top rock albums chart, reaching the number one spot in just more than a month. The hit maker's latest album, "The Search for Everything: Wave Two" have reached the top chart with 31,000 equivalent album units, and out of it, 26,000 are pure album sales, according to Nielsen Music.

John Mayer's new EP "The Search for Everything: Wave One," which was released on Jan.20 through Columbia records, atop the Feb.11 chart, making it to 49,000 equivalent album units earned in the last week of January. It broke the record marking as the shortest span between new number 1's on the survey which began in 2006.

However, all four tracks on his album, "The Search for Everything: Wave Two," made it to the Hot Rock Songs chart. "Still Feel Like Your Man" bows at No. 13, followed by "Helpless" (No. 21), "Emoji of a Wave" (No. 23) and "Roll It On Home" (No. 33). Mayer's best rank on the chart during this multi-release cycle remains Wave One lead single "Love on the Weekend," which peaked at No. 5 in December, Billboard shared.

Meanwhile, John Mayer made it sixth times already landing first on the top chart. Starting off with his third album last 2006, Continuum followed by another reigned with his 2009 album, Battle Studies then Born & Raised in 2012 and the Paradise Valley on his 2013 album.

With all the achievements he had, the Grammy-winning artist confirmed his "The Search For Everything" world tour. The tour will kick-off on March 31 at Times Union Center in Albany, New York, following an en route across eight countries, livenation reported.

In addition, another album will be released on April 14, following the first two EP's, the hit maker just recently released. Now reports claimed that the album will include the songs from the first two waves along with a new song.
