‘Attack on Titan’ Season 2 Spoilers: 4 Characters To Show-Up On April Revealed

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 new stills and teasers reveal returning characters and hint about the upcoming plot developments. The new season of the hit anime series premieres on April 1, preceded by recap movies for the first season that will be shown in theaters this March.

Leaked plot teasers coming from the anime's directors Masashi Koizuka and Tetsuro Araki reveal that in "Attack on Titan" Season 2, the enemy titans will be able to breach Wall Rose. It is one of the walls protecting ordinary humans from the flesh-eating giants that give the anime its name.

Among the enemies attacking the breach in the wall in the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 are new titans that did not appear in Season 1, Geek reported. This will reportedly be great material for action-packed fight scenes like those that dominated the series' first season. However, the directors have revealed that the second season will balance the action scenes with story and plot development.

For "Attack on Titan" Season 2 fans who want to refresh their memory of Season 1 before watching in April, two recap movies are to premiere, each lasting about 120 minutes. They are coming to selected theaters this March. The first movie, "Guren no Yumiya," will premiere on March 27, and the second, "Jiyuu no Tsubasa," on March 28 or 29.

Stills and promotional materials from the new "Attack on Titan" Season 2 also reveal some of the characters from Season 1 who will return and play major parts. In Revo magazine's two-page spread promoting the upcoming season, Reiner and Bertolt of the Survey Corps are immediately visible.

Another returning character is Krista, whose character design now looks older hinting that she will play a larger role in the new season. The most prominent returning character is the anime's protagonist, Eren Jaeger, Comic Book reported.
