‘One Direction’ Liam Payne Solo Album Release Date Allegedly Delayed Indefinitely

Liam Payne and his girlfriend, Cheryl, are expecting little a bundle of joy to arrive any day now. Hence, they have chosen to spend as much time together as possible, simple cherishing the countdown to that special day. While this makes Liam and Cheryl shippers really happy, it also makes "One Direction" fans, eagerly waiting for the singer's solo album to drop, really mad.

"One Direction" fans have waited for a lifetime for Liam Payne's solo music video, special after his bandmates, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson have come out with solo albums of their own. Even Harry Styles has announced that he will be releasing his solo album as soon as he is done working on his debut film, "Dunkirk".

But as it stands, there is no tentative date set for Payne's album release. And fans are getting impatient. No one can blame them since the "One Direction" singer keeps posting one teaser after the next, driving music lovers to the edge and then leaving them disappointed.

In a black and white video posted on Instagram recently, Payne is seen singing into the microphone of the recording studio. While the video, titled "Vibes", was supposed to get "One Direction" fans pumped up in anticipation of his upcoming music album, it had the opposite effect. It just made people realize that the soon-to-be-dad had not finished his album yet, Unreality TV reports.

As a result, comments like "Stop teasing us" and "ok so can you actually release the album pls" started getting posted beside the video. The frustration of his 30M followers is clearly reflected and will only get worse as the "One Direction" singer keeps on posting teasers instead of coming out with the actual thing.

However, according to The Sun, "One direction" Liam Payne is doing everything he can to make haste on adding the finishing touches on his album. "Until that happens he will continue spending as much time in the studio as he can," added an insider. "It's not ideal right now but it will mean he's completely free to dote on mum and baby when the time quickly comes."

However, the "One Direction" star has refrained from naming any specific date yet. Does this mean that Liam Payne's solo album is delayed indefinitely?
