Players should start sharpening those blades and memorizing those spells, as of Blizzard's "Diablo 3" is getting ready to pack up Season 9. Good news is that after a couple of weeks, the gates of Sanctuary open for Season 10, also marking the first season for the console releases of "Diablo 3."

As reported by the official website of "Diablo 3," Season 9 will end on March 17, with Season 10 starting two weeks after on March 31. During the transition, players will be able to keep most of the things they got from the last season. This includes Gold, Blood Shards, earned Paragon Experience and items. Artisan Progress, Recipes, Achievements and Legendary Powers acquired from Kanai's Cube will also remain.

Players will be receiving a bonus for their efforts in Season 9. Every player who gets a Seasonal character to level 70 gets exclusive gloves and chest transmogrification pieces. These items could be shared among Seasonal and non-Seasonal characters in "Diablo 3." Furthermore, exclusive frames and pets will be provided to those who have finished Seasonal Journey chapters.

Seasonal Heroes will also be converted to either Hardcore mode or non-Seasonal heroes in "Diablo 3," so there is no need to delete the current hero and create a new one. Once the new season starts, players can convert characters using the Season Rebirth to play Season 10. Conquests, on the other hand, will not carry over, as non-Seasonal heroes have no access to it.

As part of the roll over between seasons, the leaderboards will be a clean slate. Players can still check previous rankings, however, and compare among friends and leaders.

Blizzard has previously announced that PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of "Diablo 3" will start joining the Seasons. As reported by Gameinformer, the console versions will now have access to the Seasons event, beginning with Season 10.

As much as the new season sounds good, "Diablo 3" players are still waiting for the Necromancer class.Blizzard promised that the new class will be implemented through a DLC that will arrive this year.

"Diablo 3" is available for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
