Veteran actor John Goodman's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony started like any ordinary ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard. That is, until a certain "Dude" made his own rendition of the eulogy from the 1998 cult classic "The Big Lebowski."

Jeff Bridges, Goodman's co-star in the Coen Brothers-directed movie, removed his suit before giving a speech for the actor and replaced it with the poncho-like sweater from "The Big Lebowski." As expected, the crowd went wild, seeing the Russian cocktail-loving slacker coming back for a one-time performance.

Getting into the persona of "The Dude," he proceeded to talk about the John, drawing some of the memorable lines Goodman used in the film, Time reported.  While "The Dude" was telling the people how good an actor he is, how he explored Broadway and his love for the outdoors, Goodman was having a good time in the background, laughing non-stop at the performance.

Bridges then wraps up with his take on the eulogy's final words. He ends his speech with "Good afternoon, sweet prince," pointing out to the time of day, according to Variety. In the original eulogy scene, Goodman used the words "good night, sweet prince."

In the movie "The Big Lebowski," John Goodman played as Walter Sobchak, a veteran of the Vietnam War and best friend of Bridge's "The Dude." Walter is memorable because he usually goes back to his Vietnam War stories during conversations, a habit that some characters are annoyed of. His character is also known to be short-tempered, usually settling conflicts through his gun or any other violent means.

As for the lines referenced by Bridges, Goodman delivered those lines as Walter during the eulogy of their friend Donny, played by Steve Buscemi. As the duo proceed to the beach to scatter the ashes of their friend, Walter gives an informal eulogy that expectedly became a Vietnam War tribute.

John Goodman is part of "Kong: Skull Island," now showing in theaters.
