Kelly Ripa is reportedly pressured to find a full-time co-host for "Live" The show's rating has dropped and fans want someone to sit beside her and fill Michael Strahan's place.

It's almost a year since Michael Strahan jumped from "Live" to "Good Morning America" but Kelly Ripa had not found someone worthy enough to replace her former co-host. In fact, many were wondering if she wanted a co-host in the first place.

Kelly Ripa is now pressured to find a co-host for "Live" because viewers want to see someone sitting next to her during the show, CelebDirtyLaundry reported. If the host will not find one, she might lose her audience.

The Wrap added that the rating for "Live" dropped. The continuous revolving of co-hosts helped keep the show interesting and engaged last summer. However, this is not working anymore and if the ratings continue to drop, Kelly Ripa might find herself in more trouble from finding a regular co-host, losing her audience or perhaps, eventually losing the show.

Kelly Ripa has shared the small screen with 66 different guest co-hosts already. Eight of them have shown up half a dozen time or more. Some other missed the cut by one episode.

If one will consider the frequency of appearance in "Live" Jerry O'Connell is the front-runner. He co-hosts with Kelly Ripa 18 times. "Mr. Robot" star Christian Slater appeared in 15 episodes, Anderson Cooper did 11 and Ripa's husband Mark Consuelos, 10, Yahoo! TV reported.

Many believe that Kelly Ripa might prefer for Anderson Cooper to be her permanent "Live" co-host but the latter might not be willing to leave his job at CNN. Jerry O'Connell and Christian Slater already expressed their interest to co-host but she just gave them a runaround. Others think that Kelly Ripa was more comfortable with her husband, Mark Consuelos.

Who do you think is the best co-host for Kelly Ripa for "Live?" Will the show recover from its low ratings? Drop a comment below.
