Public will be able to pay their last respects to late mother-daughter duo Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher. Their family is set to host a public memorial at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park-Hollywood Hills on Saturday, where the late stars were buried together in January. The memorial will also have a tribute song by James Blunt and performances by the LA Gay Men's Chorus and students from the Debbie Reynolds dance school in North Hollywood.

LA Daily News reported that the joint service will be called as a "celebration of life" and fans can play their respects to Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher from 1 pm onwards. Todd Fisher has also released a statement on the tribute for his mother and sister on his website. The cemetery's Hall of Liberty--that can seat more than 1000 people--will host the memorial activities.

Further, Todd Fisher has confirmed that the seating will be on a first-come basis and a big screen will also be laid outside for this who don't get the seats. In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Todd also revealed that Carrie Fisher's 24 years old daughter Billie Lourd is coping up with two gigantic losses in her life.

"There's a vacuum in the room and she's feeling it and we're all feeling it. It's just that I'm 59 and I have no choice but to step up and put this stuff forward," he shared. He also stated that he is heartbroken to see his niece Billie's condition after the loss. He is also giving her the much-needed time to step back from the loss.

Carrie Fisher, 60, succumbed to death on Dec 27, 2016, after suffering a massive cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles. She was best known for playing Princess Leia in the "Star Wars" movies. Carrie's mother Debbie Reynolds-the iconic star from "Singin' in the Rain" and "The Unsinkable Molly Brown"-died one day later, on Dec 28, 2016. She was 84 years old.
