Jason Derulo called upon the powers of Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign and returns hopeful with the song "Swalla". Combining dancehall rhythms with Vegas club feels, Derulo gushed over his star studded record claiming that the song's unique sound is like nothing else in the music scene.

After his notable absence in the music scene ever since his team up with The Game for "Baby You" last September, Jason Derulo releases star-studded single "Swalla". Billboard reports that the new record features some of the biggest names in the music industry - Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign.

XXL Mag quotes Jason Derulo who said that he was a huge fan of both Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign and bringing them together to make music was a perfect idea. On an interview during the red carpet of the 2017 Grammy Awards, Derulo said the song was one of a kind. He reiterated that he never forced a collaboration, and for "Swalla", everything and everyone made perfect sense.

Jason Derulo's new song features a Mustard-esque bounce. The song throws in lots of other fun elements such as keys, electronic flourishes, clapping, hollering on top of all other imaginable noise. The singer believes that the song will make surely make everyone get up and do their thing.

Jason Derulo begins the song by covering its first verse and getting things started. He then passes things over to Ty Dolla $ign who storms through the song's second verse. Both exchange flavorful verses before Nicki Minaj comes through and steals the show to close out the track.

The lyric video for Jason Derulo's "Swalla" is also out, and the clip is surely pretty sexy. The words do contain profanity and the images are very sensual in nature. The bare-chested Jason was being fumbled by half-naked women. The video's cover features a spicy close-ups of women's glitter-coated lips.
