Justin Bieber's on-and-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez received a pretty big approval gift from fellow pop star Taylor Swift. According to an interview Gomez did with MTV News, the "I Know You Were Trouble" songstress decided to show her support for Gomez's latest single, "Come and Get It," by sending her a special video. The video apparently has Taylor Swift dancing to the new Gomez track, therefore letting Selena know that she has Taylor's full support!

"She sent me a video and she's, like, dancing," the 19-year-old singer explained to MTV News. "She's like the cutest dancer, because she has this little ponytail and her little bangs, and she's like just the cutest thing in the world. She's supported me from my first record to this one, and she's heard all of my stuff, so she's really sweet."

This "dance of approval" meant a lot to Gomez, who is branching out into new territory with her new album. Selena talked a bit about her new record as well, saying that she has hopes of her fans seeing the transformation she has gone through.

"I definitely want them to know the growth that I've gone through," she said. "I love it, I'm excited."

Another "BFF (or former BFF)" Demi Lovato, was also a topic of discussion for Gomez. The two pop stars first met on the children's show "Barney and Friends" and have been close ever since, although lately the two have kept their distance from each other. Despite this seemingly broken friendship, the two appear to fully support each other's careers.

Gomez admitted that she is a big fan of Lovato's song "Heart Attack," too!

"The one thing I appreciate about Demi is that she has her own individual style, and that's something she's wanted to remain no matter where she is, and I definitely love that and admire that about her," Gomez said.

Selena Gomez will kick off her "Stars Dance" tour in Vancouver, Canada, on August 14.
