One of the longest running anime of this generation, "Naruto Shippuden" aired its final and 500th episode. The finale of "Naruto Shippuden" causes an emotional reaction among its fans. For being one of the most popular animes that have garnered international recognition, producers have decided to finally end the story of Naruto and his friends on its 500th episode which aired last March 23.

On the brighter side, "Naruto Shippuden" will be replaced by "Boruto" on its Japanese channel timeslot. Masashi Kishimoto did not disappoint the fans of his popular anime TV series as he ended the story of how the greatest Hokage finishes his journey. Many expressed their sentiment and gratitude for the creator of "Naruto Shippuden" by posting on different manga sites.

SPOILER ALERT: The proceeding paragraphs contain spoilers of "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 499 and "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 500.

As recapped by Crunchy Roll, "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 499 featured the wedding of Naruto. Before the awaited wedding ceremony, conflict arises such as Hinata's worrying if all the guests she expected will not be present. Gratefully, Kakashi solved Hinata's problem that allowed every Hidden Leaf shinobi to attend the wedding reception of Naruto and Hinata.

On the 500th episode of "Naruto Shippuden", Naruto can be seen visiting Iruka who also has been having a hard time constructing a congratulatory speech. Iruka then can be seen very touched and emotional as Naruto ask him to stand as his father during the wedding ceremony. At the end of the day, every guest was able to record their congratulatory message for Naruto and Hinata through the intervention of Konohamaru.

Of course, "Naruto Shippuden" will not end without Sasuke being able to send his warm message for the couple through a hawk that intentionally landed on Sakura's hands at the reception. Everyone was obviously happy during the wedding.

"Naruto Shippuden" finally concluded by giving a sneak peek of what to expect in Naruto's life and other characters. The loss will be compensated by the upcoming spinoff series, "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will air on April 5, as reported by Anime News Network.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" will focus on Naruto's son, Boruto. Upon its release date, the rated "T" (Teens) print edition of the sequel's volume 1 will also be released on the same day.

Not only that, a good news was announced which is the "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" home video release. VIZ Media picked up the movie rights and will have it available on Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack and DVD on March 28, 2017. The upcoming film will follow the life of the rebellious son of Naruto, Boruto who seeks to become an even greater ninja than his father.
